Residential Client Keeps Discovering Us From Different Sources, Writing's On "The Floor!"
Contractor, in a panic calls us with a stone emergency.
This past August a construction company, in a panic with s stone emergency, (an adhesive etch that absorbed in to a brand new limestone floor), googled, found us and called for an emergency removal. Seeing our reviews they called and we set an appointment, prepared to do the work sight unseen.
Meanwhile their residential client, also in a panic, takes to Google, finds us and calls us too!
At that very time the contractor’s client independently finds us and our reviews on line, picks up the phone and calls us too.
As I answered the phone I began to realize the potential client was calling about the very same property that the contractor had called about. After a brief explanation I shared with him that we already had an appointment to see and correct his floor with the contractor.
And although the day of service had to be scheduled sooner, the homeowner was very impressed and was confident that both he, and his builder independently concluded we were the right fit for the job.
Once the date was revised, the homeowner piped up that he was pleased that we will be coming to his aide.
Turns out his brand new home was going on a home tour in August, actually a few days later in August. So this stone repair emergency had to be moved up, which we were happy to do.
After two days of diamond grinding and a chance to see our equipment at work, both contractor and client are pleased with the technology, our service, and the results!
The client took an interest in our work, and with small talk we find out he discovered he owned 40 franchise stores. Working at one franchise while in engineering school he saw the business model, and ditched engineering as his profession.
Besides watching us, there was considerable conversation about the magnificent wine cellar, that can be seen through glass from below the stone floor.
Our tech helper, a vineyard wine maker (of past), was amazed at this wine cellar. At the flick of a switch the wine cellar rises to the main floor level to be available for entertaining. This is a wine experience of epic proportions! Asking all about it the homeowner shared details about it, where it was made, how it was transported, and how it was installed!
Not a fast fix, our team spent two long days grinding the etch marks out, steam rinsing it and eventually the final polishing.
During the job we find out the homeowner has 30 Dunkin Donut stores. Working at Dunkin while in engineering school he saw the business model, and ditched engineering.
Meanwhile, the homeowner, who was on site had a lot of interaction with the team. Besides watching, there was considerable conversation about the magnificent wine cellar, that can be seen through glass from below the stone floor.

That was August, Now Fast Forward To October...
After finishing the stone job we were telling another staff member, Jeff, about the job. He was interested in who the owner was, as his wife, a health and wellness coach, has a very good friend whose husband owned several more franchise stores.
Just a side bar conversation, her friend is also of Indian descent, so chances are both owners probably know each other well.
Enter Bethany Associates
Our friend Jeff got a call from Bethany Associates. They are window cleaners who specialize in store fronts. So they do tons of retail and restaurants.
Tim McGowan, CFO of ARF Corp, parent company who runs the restaurant franchise reaches out to Jeff about floor cleaning at 2 of their stores.
I begin to put two and two together, that this might be Mr. Mandi’s Company. Mr Mandi is the owner of the magnificent Margate home with the wine cellar. And sure enough, while placing a call I get through to him at his office.
Delightedly he finds out we are the floor cleaning people Bethany has referred to his staff, and he saw first hand the steam cleaning and rinsing technology we used at his house.
Turns out Tim simultaneously tells Mandi that we were the guys who worked on his wine cellar.
Just prior to my call Tim shares with Mr. Mandi that the people he hopes to hire to deep clean the Pleasantville Store floors is the one who worked on his wine cellar at his house.
Well that didn’t quite resonate with Mandi, but once I called him it all made sense. We were there doing stone restoration for him while marveling about his wine cellar.
Mandi chuckled about remembering Mark’s interest in the wine cellar, and welcomed our bid for his Pleasantville Store.
Rather quickly they approved our work, and scheduled, not one, but two appointments to detail the Pleasantville Store, and the Absecon Store. Not only that Tim informs Jeff that there are 12 more stores to be overhauled within the next 12 months
If you have a busy restaurant or commercial floors that get heavy use we have a solution to get them cleaner than anyone else around. Free Estimates or Want to Schedule a Demo Call Us at 609.953.0472, or Contact Us on line and we will reach out to you.
