Following a FB recommendation, client hires us only to discover we’ve previously cleaned her brick floor 6-7 times for another owner!
The challenge.
Unsure of who to call, our client turned to Facebook for recommendations. She needed her grouted, natural brick kitchen floor cleaned—a bit of a challenge due to its rough texture and wide grout joints that gave it a charming country vibe. Over time, however, the floor had lost its luster, and the colors needed refreshing.
Fretting about DIY attempts, she sought professional help. And Facebook delivered. She gave us a call.
As a high-traffic area, the kitchen had seen its share of wear and tear. Cooking activities had dulled the brick, and the grout had taken a beating. Adding to the mix was her playful labradoodle, whose boundless energy—and playful paws added to the floor’s woes. You can picture the scene!
Nestled in one of Moorestown’s beautiful wooded areas, her home enjoys stunning views but also bears the challenges of outdoor “puppy romping” adventures that get tracked back inside.
While calling to schedule our client becomes excited and assured she called the right company!
Bingo, as I answered the phone and she began describing her project I piped in “do you live in Moorestown?” She answered yes. Then our of no- where (prob thinking in her mind I said), “do you live on Riverton Road?” She said, yes. (I am sure now she was curious how I knew that too!?) LOL. I answered he by saying we had just done her next door neighbor’s house. I also informed her that we have cleaned the floor in her kitchen for a previous owner who owned the house about 6-7 times.
Circling back to her neighbor’s house, the previous week we detailed and acid washed her next door neighbor’s, brick floor again too! Then I shared that we did work for her backyard neighbor too, on Tom Brown Rd. So I shared that we diamond ground, re-honed and polished their kitchen marble floor a few years back!
Client’s concerns now at ease.
Our client was thrilled to have found us. She couldn’t wait to see her brick floors restored. It was her husband’s request, and she felt confident she’d hired the right team for the job. Her excitement was fueled by optimism, knowing the results would make both her and her husband happy.
The Work.
After setting up our tools and solutions, we pre-treated and scrubbed the grout joints with a powerful cleaning solution to kickstart the process. Our client, curious about the operation, observed as we began using the truck-mounted cleaning system. The whistling and buzzing of the wand caught her attention, prompting her to ask questions.
Curious and engaged, she looked over our shoulder.
Standing nearby, she watched as the wand glided across the floor, revealing a dramatic transformation—clean, vibrant brick and grout emerging right before our eyes. Fascinated, she asked Chris how it worked. Chris described the “secret sizzle” under the wand housing: a high-speed spinner ejecting pressurized, near-boiling water while simultaneously suctioning dirty water back into the truck’s waste tank—all in a single pass.
